I liked the friendliness of the hotel staff. From the moment I checked in, the receptionist, bar staff, bouncers were so friendly . Only think that would've been great was extra coffee, tea , milk in the bedroom.I Travelled a while and once we checked in we wanted to watch some tv and have a relaxing cuppa but it was evaporated milk and small about of coffee .. but otherwise it was perfect. Im planning our next stay with The Pier Hotel as its great value for money. Many thanks to all.
price, hardworking pleasant staff, excellent entertaiment facilities downstairs.
the rooms were very small. The rooms themselves were hard to find in narrow dark corridors.
excllent service and great value for money
Very friendly staff, lovely stay, great value!
it was well located for business, shopping, eating out etc . it was verry clean, lovely staff. did not have breakfast was up late had to dash off. parking was full but hotel had deal with Dunns next door. over all a lovely little hotel and i travel all over the world.
The music down stairs was loud but not a big problem. However from 3 to 5 people returning to there rooms were shouting and fighting. No staff came to sort this out. Not nice when your on your owne. This is not a complaint its a fact. It might have been a one off. would only recommend to young adults on a good night out. Buisness no. We need a sleep!
Excellent access to Limerick city centre. Free car parking. Very good value breakfast
Noise from both traffic (due to a faulty window in room 220) and loud music in the bar. The walls were paper-thin and the occupants could clearly be heard talking, amongts other things.I Have stayed in this hotel several time and was not affected by these issues, so it could pe peculiar to this room.
Location is great, very central, and the staff are superb. This is the 2nd time that we have stayed there.
Our shower thermostat did not work properly, so the water became very hot, which is rather difficult when you are covered in soap! We were only there for 1 night, so having reported this we don't know how long it took to rectify.
The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to look after you. This accomodation is well worth the stay with no disappointments. The location is excellent for numerous reasons has all the expected comforts. Our stay was an enjoyable one so we would recommend this accomodation, no worries.
Room 225 is small, with the inevitable clipping of knees and ankles off the furniture. I also was unable to connect any of my wifi devices(netbook, smartphones) in that room. I made a connection outside, in the hallway.
Locatin and kindness of the staff.
Carpark next door in shopping centre Electrician needs to visit hotel. Most of our. Lights in the room did not work or needed globes No safe
Clean, Friendly staff, value for money, location.
The hotel is in a great location, it is right in the city centre. The hotel itself is basic, but in fairness the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable and pretty much perfect for what we paid for it, which really was very little. The residence bar was great and the bar staff were lovely. The reception staff need work though!!!!!!!! I would stay here again no probs!!! I would recommend to anyone on a budget and looking for a cheap and cheerful-ish place to stay.
friendliness of staff and clenliness.
Very noisy because of the bar down stairs
